Jordyn's Weekend fun at the Farm House

Jordyn had a fun filled Friday night and Saturday spending time at the Farm House in Oklahoma with her Daddy and Pa. I was on call Friday and ended up having to work. My dad stayed overnight with Connor while I worked And Jordyn and daddy let for the "farm house". Here is Jordyn and Pa shooting bow and arrows.Jordyn would help Pa pull the arrows after he was done. She loves this kind of stuff.

Jordyn loves riding the 4 wheeler. Pa got a salamander and Jordyn was afraid to touch it. She had a good time until she got home. Anthony and her got home around 10 Saturday night. Anthony came in and put Jordyn to bed and went to the bath to soak in bleach. Bleach kills chiggers and they are bad this time off year. Hence, why I hate the outdoors. My motherly instinct kick in and I thought I should wake up Jordyn to make her soak to just in case. So I woke her up and she soaked then got in the shower and rinsed off. Anthony was taking over at this point and I headed off to bed. Well a few minutes later the showered turned off and I hear Anthony telling Jordyn " Its okay honey, I just need to get a few more off you." So I go in to see what he is talking about and Jordyn is covered in little tiny seed ticks. I of course freaked out!! I mean the were the tinest little ticks you could barely see them. But she was covered in them. It took us about an hour to completely pull every single tick off her with tweezers. I am sure it as very tramatic for her. She had them all over her private area and on her hairline. I felt so bad for her and wanted to kill my husband for it even though it was not his fault. Bug spray does not work real well on ticks and they were so small. Anyhow we managed to survive the ordeal. I am just so glad I woke her up. Ticks can carry nasty things so I am praying that she will be okay. She told me last night after it was all over.." Mommy I dont want to go with daddy to the farm house again." ...She is scared of the ticks. But then today she woke up and I throughly checked her again and she wants to go back to the farm house afterall.
